Re:How can we attract more job providers??? 7 Months, 2 Weeks ago

May be we, the members of CADLore.com can offer the buyers a limited free services in every month.
For example, I am willing and ready to provide 5/6 hours of AutoCAD Drafting / SolidWorks Modeling / Rendering / 3D Walkthrough job for the registered buyers of CADLore.com in every month. If I can satisfy a new buyer with my free service in every month hope it will increase my review points as well as the reputation of this site on the freelance job market..
In order to start this service we may consider the following: * Every buyer will get this free service only for once.. / The buyer will get this free service (two/three hours) after a successful completion of a project/job that will cost more than $100...etc.. * There should to have a tracking system/project bidding system like cadauctions/guru....so that the pros can bid on the projects and get awarded. * According to the free hours provided and the number of the successful completion of the projects/money achieved...professionals will be highlighted or get review points.. More the review points, Pros will be able to attract more buyers..
----- Its all up to you... its just an idea... may be it can come to a help to all the freelancer or else...sorry.
-------------
I have already contacted to almost all of my permanent clients about cadlore.com .. Some of them have visited this site, discussed about their thoughts and wished to try it atleast for once... Some said that they are happy with those sites they are with now...Some said, there is no bidding system..its only like a bulletin board...What is the guarantee that the professionals will return the job within time... etc ..
On the other hand, there are many talents who don't get the chances to show up their capability only for the lag of a right place / right person.. Some freelance don't even know/have the right payment option...
However, My opinion is that in order to make Freelance CAD Jobs popular, we will have to work very hard.. Personally I have struggled a lot in order to make a place in the freelance/overseas project markets. So, I deeply feel that, It is also my responsibility to come to a help to whom I may come to....
CADLore.com is an uprising site and hope it will be able to reach to the top in the very near future..I will try my best to contribute my ideas/knowledge/experience for its prosperity. --------------

Hello Kawsar,
Thanks once again for trying to be helpful to CADLore.com. Your idea is very good and our developers will working on it. Hope to see some results soon.
Also, I would ask other members to share their thoughts about this idea as well since if such a system is to be introdiced, then there should be sufficient numbers of pros who would be willing to do the free 2-3 hours of CAD service per month.
Please, come back with your thoughts and concerns about this new idea shared by Kawsar.

Here are more suggestions on how this site could be improved.
1. I think the Directory listings could be improved : while being logged off, if I browse the Directory, I cannot see what each provider do, what are his previous work experience, what CAD software he uses. These should be much nicer and should be attractive to potential Job provider.
2. On a provider entry if I click on the "WaySearch" _link_ I am re-directed to a dutch (not sure?) Google site with the United State map, even if the provider is not located in the US. This is not very professionnal...
3. If I do a search in the CAD Directory, each provider is tagged "Community Buidler" : I think it should be "Builder". It should be a high priority to clean the site of miss-spells and writing error. It doesn't look professionnal. Just hire a writer on Elance to dougle check things out!
4. If I am logged out, if I do a search on the CAD Directory, if I select a provider I am told to "Please login or Register to view user profiles" : why is that so? Why can't a buyer look at profiles if he has not registered yet. I think it is a show stopper if a new visitor cannot see the quality of the providers listed here.
5. While beeing logged in, I did a search on "Solid Edge" and I picked one entry to find out that the one I picked uses SolidWorks and Autocad, but not Solid Edge. Since this is a CAD only job site, why isn't there a precise searching tool by CAD software?
6. While beeing logged in, I did a search on my user name (parallaxe) and two results came up : one listed as "CAD Directory" and the other as "Community Builder". With one I have access to a detailed profile and with the other one to a short profile. Why two profiles for one provider? Isn't that a bit confusing?
In short, I think you need to put yourself in the user shoes and think like him and you will see many things that could be improved.
