3 months and still no jobs, trust you are not e-mail gathering
It appears one new posting in CAD JOBS of someone looking for full-time drafter in India!
I assumed this was a site for freelancers meeting companies outsourcing their projects to be carried out in the freelancers business premises or home!
Fellow members, 'don't give up your day job just yet'!
Unless of course, the site owners prove me wrong and we get too much work and have to turn projects away!
As Buddy Holly sang a long time ago "That Will Be the Day". Didn't want to use your bandwith by uploading the MP3
Regards,
Sam

Hello,

Thank you for your opinion.
Our site serves as an online CAD community, not only jobs are to be offered here. If you are only searching for CAD jobs you are missing some other things here - the business directory, the _link_s exchange program, extended profile section, the forum, the CAD symbols directory updated each month, etc.

Best regards,
Pam

I think you are missing my point here. There are thousands of CAD forums, millions of _link_s and millions of CAD symbols elsewhere on the Net! If there are no outsourcers of work posting projects, then this site to me is a total waste of browsing time!

Hello,

I got your poing very clearly, we are working on attracting work outsourcers so that we could establish the site as a good place for outsourcing CAD related jobs.

Our site becomes more and more popular every day. You could agree that with millions of sites on the Internet, it is not an easy job to establish oneself as premium place for CAD jobs. I believe that with the help of people like you, who share their opinion, the site will become even more popular.

You will be able to find CAD jobs here. Nevertheless, as you point out at your first post, people should rely on the freelance work just as an additional way of generating revenues.

Thank you for comments
Best regards,
Pam

I am agree to both of you...
There are plenty of resources at this site that will not let your browsing time totaled.. But, it is also a fact that we hope to see this site as the most popular site in the webworld. So, why would the Job section of this community will not be up to date??

I don't believe that every member of this community is a new/beginner. There must be several members who are very much expert&experinced in CAD&CAD Freelancing and they must have number of clients too. So, a huge responsibility goes to them about informing their clients about this new market place..about the potential of the members of this community..

Outsourcing CAD Jobs are not so popular like the Web-Jobs.. So, we'll have to work very hard...together...

I have been a freelancer since 1970, worked all over Europe, now freelancing in South Africa as an Aircraft Structural Designer on a Military Project. One thing you learn is that once you get a client/s you look after them as they are your livelihood. The selfish part of it is you keep them to yourself. You certanily don't go telling them that they may get the job done cheaper on a website!
