I can offer you or your company organizational skills with attention to detail, which I learned while in the military and working in the CAD drafting environment. Majoring in Machine Drafting at Des Moines Area Community College, I have applied my skills in AutoCAD R13, AutoCAD R14, AutoCAD 2008, ME-10, Solid Edge, Solid Designer, Applicon, Preditor, AllyCad, eMachineShop, PowerSHAPE, Google SketchUp, Word, Excel, A/S 400, and various other software. Other duties include investigating design problems, assisting the engineers in correcting problems, and customizing/diagnosing AutoCAD. I’ve applied my experience with Techstaff of Iowa. Job Assignment: Fisher Controls, Duties: Revised drawings generated by corrective action reports, metric conversions of drawings for international use, conversions of drawings to current software. Software used: ME-10, Solid Designer, Applicon, Preditor, IBM & Microsoft Office software. Ryko Manufacturing, Duties: Certified in ISO 9001, revised drawings generated by corrective action reports, created assembly drawings for the Atlantis Truck Wash, basic & advanced drafting/design drafting, Autocad Specialist, Investigation & repair of corrective action reports, assembly to piece part drawings, creation and maintenance of bill of materials. Software used: Autocad, IBM & Microsoft Office software. My objective is to apply acquired skills in computer aided drafting for people and company's that require accurate drawing's and designs. I want to be as flexible as this position requires. We may need to discuss the quantity, time frame, and the size of each drawing. I would be more than happy to do drawings for you at a bid rate for the entire drawing/drawing's or at an hourly rate if you prefer. For the hourly rate, I would suggest $12.00 /hr. I am not interested in acquiring a job, but rather, am interested in starting a freelance career. I believe in giving more than 100% to the job. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss with you a position. Important note: I only supply drafting services, it may be necessary to obtain a qualified engineer to check and approve my final drawings depending upon your clients' requirements and specifications.
